What Support Services Does Option 4 Provide?

Transportation Escort
Option 4 provides transportation during high stress periods. Most commonly, an escort is needed to:

• Transport to or from a treatment facility
• Transport to critical appointments such as court-ordered or professional licensing obligations

Recovery Companion
Entering community recovery meetings can be intimidating, especially when you are at your most vulnerable. Their Recovery Companion can go with you. They can encourage you to meet other members and go with you to fellowship events until you are ready to go on your own. They will be available to accompany you to any event that will promote your recovery.

Professional Companion
At some point you will need to resume your professional activities. This may mean going to golfing events, evening functions or conferences where alcohol will be served or you will be away from your recovery network. At vulnerable periods in your recovery, you may find these activities challenging.

Option 4 has companions from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and cultures. You will be appropriately matched with a professional who can support you in your recovery while you get back to work.
