We have a long history of providing presentations for community education and understand the importance of community awareness. The following presentations are available for community organizations, service associations and other interested groups. The length of the program can be tailored to your individual needs.

Designing a Co-Parenting Plan
We will discuss:

Alienation, Alignment and Proactive Co-Parenting
We will discuss:

  • Elements of proactive co-parenting
  • Proactive co-parenting with a challenging or uncooperative partner
  • Alignment: a natural process or early warning sign
  • Alienating behaviors and how proactive co-parenting can help

Rite of Passage: Risky Business
We have partnered with the Charleston City Police Department, Attorney Craig Jones and Thomas Gibbs from Option 4 for this presentation. It is a humorous, honest, factual presentation for college and high school students discussing the subtle effects and consequences of substance use and abuse. Symptoms of attention deficit, anxiety, depression and memory are discussed. Little known occupational and legal consequences are also discussed.

Addictive Behaviors: Para-Addiction Recovery as an Intervention
This presentation primarily targets family members, friends or partners of someone who has addictive behaviors. For decades, professionals have tried to use an intervention as a means for forcing a loved one into treatment. While this may get them in the door, the only successful intervention is co-recovery. Intervention is a process, not an event. We will discuss:
